Volunteers Needed for Flying Pig Marathon Events

The Madisonville Education and Assistance Center (MEAC) needs your help! MEAC is looking for volunteers to help at two events associated with the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon. By providing volunteers, MEAC will receive monetary benefits that will help those we serve.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP? Volunteer at one or two of the events below:

Stuff Goody Bags
Volunteers will help prepare the goody bags that are given to each Flying Pig participant.
When: April 17 from 12 PM to 3 PM
Where: Verst Logistics Warehouse - Exact Location TBD

Course Monitors
Volunteers will help on the course on race day.
When: May 2 from 6:45 AM to 10:30 AM
Where: MEAC’s volunteers will meet at Bramble Park

Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.

2. Under the heading Online Volunteer Sign-up, select “Sign-up with a Registered Group”

3. From the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page, select one of the following Group Names and enter the Password as indicated below:
• If you plan to volunteer and help Stuff Goody Bags, select Madisonville Education & Assistance Center – Baggers and enter the Password: MEACB
• If you plan to volunteer to help as a Course Monitor, select Madisonville Education & Assistance Center – Monitors and enter the Password: MEACM

4. Complete the required information and submit the form

Paycor is going to give MEAC $250 for every corporate relay team that participates in the Flying Pig Marathon in our name on Sunday, May 2nd! Please do everything you can to help us put together relay teams for this event. This is a great opportunity to raise a lot of money for MEAC. Please contact Jessica Wabler at jessicawaber@fuse.net for more details and for ways in which you can help promote this opportunity.

MEAC is now participating in Kroger’s Neighborhood Rewards Program. You can purchase a $20 Kroger gift card from MEAC that you reload over and over again (up to $250 each time). MEAC will receive 4% of the total amount that is loaded onto the card! If you are interested in purchasing a card and supporting MEAC in this very easy way, please contact Jessica Wabler at jessicawabler@fuse.net. We’ll make sure that we get one to you as soon as they are in.
